Claires Court School in Maidenhead is seeking a qualified Nursery Room Leader to manage the day-to-day running of the two-to-four room in The Thicket. You will ensure high-quality care and a safe, stimulating learning environment while working 40 hours per week across 52 weeks.

Based at The Thicket, you will lead staff, plan activities, maintain development records, and build strong relationships with children, parents and colleagues, with safeguarding at the heart of every day.

Qualificações

• NVQ Level 3 qualification in childcare or above.
• Experience in an Early Years setting.
• Good English and numeracy skills.
• Ability to create safe, happy and stimulating play activities.
• Supportive, collaborative approach.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Commitment to children’s welfare and safeguarding.
• Understanding of child protection responsibilities.

Responsabilidades

• Lead day-to-day operation of your nursery room.
• Deploy staff and resources while maintaining ratios.
• Plan and deliver stimulating, age-appropriate activities.
• Create a welcoming, inclusive learning environment.
• Tailor routines to meet each child’s needs.
• Develop bonds with key children and carers.
• Maintain development records and observations.
• Coach and develop other nursery staff.
• Identify training needs for continuous improvement.
• Build relationships with parents and carers.
• Follow safeguarding, health and safety, and GDPR requirements.
