Job summary

Busy Bees in Huntingdon is seeking a Room Leader to oversee multiple rooms and drive the Bee Curious curriculum across the centre. This leadership role is about inspiring your team to achieve the highest standards of care and learning, while ensuring every child’s development is tracked and communicated with families.

The nursery is Ofsted-rated Good with a capacity of 100 children, offering progression opportunities, a welcoming, supportive environment and a range of employee benefits including

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification or above in early years education.
• Experience in an early years setting, with supervisory experience advantageous.
• Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and execution of age-appropriate activities and curriculum in your room.
• Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment for children.
• Foster a high-performing team through supportive leadership and collaboration.
• Oversee the development and wellbeing of children, ensuring their progress is tracked and communicated with parents.
• Take on the role of Key Person, ensuring the holistic development and personal care needs of a group of children.
• Ensure health and safety standards are met, maintaining a clean and secure environment.
