Kids Planet Day Nurseries Ltd. is seeking a Deputy Manager at our Heywood nursery. You will work with the manager to run daily operations, ensuring a safe, nurturing environment where children thrive.

You’ll build strong relationships with families and agencies, guiding staff while bringing EYFS to life in a fun, compliant way. The role requires Level 3 EYFS qualification, deep EYFS understanding, and leadership experience in a nursery setting.

Qualifications

• Must hold Level 3 UK-recognised early years qualification.
• Excellent understanding of the EYFS.
• Extensive safeguarding knowledge.
• Leadership experience in a nursery setting.

Responsibilities

• Support the manager in day-to-day nursery operations to ensure smooth running.
• Build warm, trusting relationships with families and collaborate with external agencies to support child development.
• Guide and support the nursery team and bring EYFS to life in an engaging, compliant way.
