Job summary

Dudley Group NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Shift Lead/Sister (Band 6) for the Trauma and Orthopaedics Outpatients Department, working 7.5 hours per week across Russells Hall Hospital and Corbett’s Hospital. The service runs Monday to Friday 08:30–18:00 with occasional weekend and evening clinics.

You will lead day-to-day nursing care in T&O Outpatients, support the Lead Nurse, coordinate virtual fracture clinics, and help ensure timely patient reviews while upholding standards of care and

• Experience in Trauma & Orthopaedics Outpatients preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day nursing care within Trauma & Orthopaedics Outpatients.
• Monitor virtual fracture clinics to ensure timely reviews.
• Deputise for the Lead Nurse as required.
• Provide expert clinical and managerial guidance to staff and patients.
