Job summary
Spectrum Community Health CIC is seeking a Lead Nurse (NHS AfC Band 6) to join the Northumberland Health & Justice services at HMP Northumberland. The post requires an experienced registered nurse with leadership potential and a commitment to evidence-based care within a secure prison setting.

Qualifications
- Registered General Nurse with current registration.
- Evidence of ongoing CPD and delivery of evidence-based care.
- Independent Nurse / Supplementary / Non-Medical Prescriber qualification or willingness to undertake.
- Appropriate management qualification or equivalent experience.
Responsibilities
- Lead daily nursing management, coordinating staffing and workload based on patient need.
- Provide strong clinical leadership to the nursing team within Health & Justice.
- Oversee holistic care and collaborate with multidisciplinary colleagues to optimise prisoner health.
- Deliver and supervise evidence-based care and contribute to service development.
