Lead Nurse Pre-Assessment

Up to £43,001.00 per annum, depending on experience

37.5 hours per week

As a Lead Nurse in Pre-Assessment at our Brighton Hospital, you must be registered with the appropriate governing body (NMC) and have relevant qualifications and experience. Proven leadership skills and post-registration experience in patient care, pre and post-operatively, across various specialties such as Cardiac, Colorectal, Orthopaedic, ENT, Gynae, and Urology, or proven experience in Pre-operative assessment, are essential.

You should also have experience in Phlebotomy, ECG taking, and Clinical Assessment (training can be provided).

As Lead Pre-assessment Nurse, you will:

• Support the Pre-Assessment Manager in the efficient running of the department
• Coordinate activity and be responsible for patient care and safety
• Enhance the patient experience by ensuring seamless, personalised care
• Work collaboratively with specialist consultants
• Apply your assessment, care planning, and delivery skills
• Promote a supportive and safe working environment for staff
