Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen within Ophthalmology for a senior nurse who is highly motivated to join the team as a Lead Nurse for Ophthalmology. You must be an innovative and hardworking adult nurse with a broad range of skills and experience. Interest in and experience of ophthalmology are essential.
You will be accountable for the Ophthalmology service, working within the divisional SBU. Providing clinical leadership and operational management across all elements of the service including pre-assessment, day surgery, urgent eye care, outpatients, and ongoing care to ensure a professional, safe, and efficient service to patients and staff, working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team.
You must possess, and be able to demonstrate, excellent leadership and management skills. We are seeking to appoint a compassionate and caring nurse who will work closely with the Senior Team to deliver outstanding care.
