Job summary

Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board is offering an exciting leadership opportunity for a Band 7 Team Leader for Looked After Children. Based in Wales, you will lead a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, child-centered health assessments and safeguarding services across the Health Board.

You will work closely with partners across health, social care and education to promote the health, wellbeing and safety of children in care, driving service development and ensuring compliance

Qualifications

• Registered nurse with current NMC registration.
• Experience leading safeguarding teams or services.
• Experience working with Looked After Children.
• Proven ability to manage priorities and drive service improvements.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and professional leadership to the Looked After Children Health Team.
• Lead service development and quality improvement initiatives.
• Ensure delivery of timely, high-quality health assessments and safeguarding services.
• Collaborate with local authorities, education, foster carers and other health professionals.
