It is an exciting time to work in the Erewash Community Mental Health team for Adults of Working Age, during a period of transformation aligned with the Community Mental Health Framework (Living Well).
This role will transition into the Living Well program, offering short-term interventions and groups within a multidisciplinary framework, including VCSE staff. Erewash Living Well started in February 4 and maintains strong collaborations with all involved agencies.
Based in Ilkeston, the team is easily accessible from Chesterfield, Mansfield, Nottingham, and Derby, with opportunities for remote work.
We provide robust clinical and managerial supervision, ongoing training, and support for professional development, guided by our clinical lead.
We seek individuals who are warm, engaging, and focused on person-centered care. Candidates must hold a Mental Health nursing qualification, demonstrate excellent communication skills, and uphold respect and dignity.
Our focus is on empowerment and recovery for service users and their families.
The role involves working with individuals experiencing severe and enduring mental health issues and supporting their recovery journeys.
Experience in group work is preferred, with training available in trauma and DBT interventions.
You will manage a caseload, support the duty function within the team, and have thorough knowledge of the Care Programme Approach, risk assessment, and management in a community setting.
Good communication skills and the ability to operate as a team member are essential. As a lead nurse, you should have RMN post-registration experience, ongoing professional development, and demonstrate competencies aligned with NMC standards.
You will serve as a role model, providing mentorship and supervision, and be capable of transporting yourself and service users across a wide area without compromising service delivery.
