Responsibilities

  • Provide visible clinical leadership across the hospital.

Main duties of the job

As a Lead Nurse at Elysium Healthcare, you will be a senior member of the nursing team with responsibilities of providing visible clinical leadership across the hospital. Your role will include promoting and safeguarding the well-being of service users, employees, and visitors while ensuring patient care standards are maintained. This position requires extensive experience in similar settings within the NHS or Private Care and includes participation in senior on call arrangements. Part of your role will be formulating and presenting updates that will be required through the hospitals governance processes. You will be responsible to manage resources, supervise senior nurses and form and integral part of the clinical structure in maintaining and developing high standards of care.

Where you will be working
Location

Thornford Park, Crookham Hill, Thatcham, Berkshire, RG19 8ET. You will be working at Thornford Park, a 141 bedded independent hospital which supports service users that require medium and low secure Forensic Mental Health Services. In addition to these services there is also a PICU Mental Health Service.

The service provides a seamless internal care pathway supporting and empowering people in their recovery and rehabilitation. Working alongside the multidisciplinary team, you will provide personalised assessment and treatment programmes for males with mental illness/complex care needs as well as those with personality disorder, and females and males in a PICU service.
