Lead NPI Engineer / NPI Manager (Six Sigma Training)

£40,000 - £50,000 + Full Training + Progression Opportunities + External Courses (six sigma etc) + Work / Life Balance + Pension + Holiday

Commutable from Stourbridge, Dudley, Birmingham, Halesowen, Kingswinford, Wombourne, Oldbury, Kidderminster, Stourport-on-Severn

This company is a Manufacturer who works with big names across various industries such as automotive and power generation. Due to continued growth in line with continuous improvement, they are looking for a motivated engineer to join their team.

In this role, you will be involved in all NPI activities to assist in bringing products from the design/conception stages into manufacture, while striving for continual improvements of quality and yield. The role will be hands-on, split between the shop floor and office. There are opportunities for those looking to stay hands-on or who would like to take on management responsibilities.

The Role:

1. Monday - Friday, 40 hours
2. Split between the shop floor and office
3. Part of the NPI team
4. Leadership and support of other staff
5. Bringing products from concept to manufacture
6. Liaising with clients to discuss requirements and updates

The Person:

1. Background in NPI or similar
2. Engineering background, such as manufacturing or heavy engineering (or similar)
3. Management experience not required but is beneficial
