SALARY: Up to £75,000 plus extensive benefits package

As the lead non-medical prescriber, you will play a pivotal role in helping to establish our ADHD treatment service. Your primary responsibility will be to lead on the development and delivery of an ADHD treatment service, bringing together current legislation and best practice to provide a comprehensive assessment and treatment offer.

What you need to have

  • Professional registration (Nursing or pharmacist) NMC or GPhC
  • Experience of working within a treatment service/ Desirable experience of setting up a treatment service.
  • Specialist knowledge of ADHD assessment and treatment options including specific medication
  • Extensive knowledge of lifespan Mental health and neurodevelopmental conditions.
  • Solid understanding of the relevant legislation and regulations pertaining to the delivery of a prescribing service.
  • Experience of delivering clinical supervision, with relevant supervisory qualification.
  • Experience in service development, audit, clinical governance and quality assurance.
  • High level of communication skills and experience of acting as a clinical expert and representative when liaising with key internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to provide high level reports to senior management
  • Ability to undertake medication appointments for children and adults, prescribing in accordance with NICE guidelines ensuring safe and effective practice.
