Overview

Lead NetSuite Developer

We\'re looking for a hands-on NetSuite leader who can set the technical direction, grow our development capability, and deliver scalable, high-impact solutions. You\'ll be the go-to authority for NetSuite (SuiteScript, SuiteFlow, SuiteTalk, SDF) while also shaping how we use CI/CD, testing frameworks, and GitHub to raise the bar on quality and delivery. Responsibilities

• Owning the full development lifecycle of NetSuite customisations and integrations.
• Designing CI/CD pipelines that make deployments faster, safer, and repeatable.
• Embedding automated testing and coding standards to reduce defects and improve maintainability.
• Coaching, guiding, and scaling a team of developers to deliver consistent, high-quality results.
• Leading code reviews, setting standards, and championing knowledge-sharing.
• Working with the CTO to shape development processes and influence the wider tech strategy.
• Partnering with business stakeholders and consultants to translate requirements into elegant technical solutions.
• Keeping an eye on system performance, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring scalability.
• Staying ahead of NetSuite releases and emerging tools to continually evolve our approach.

Requirements

• Strong track record of delivering enterprise-scale NetSuite projects.
• Mastery of SuiteScript 2.x, SuiteFlow, SuiteTalk, and SDF.
• Practical experience with CI/CD pipelines, GitHub workflows, and automation.
• Experience introducing testing frameworks that improved stability and delivery confidence.
• Leadership experience — from mentoring individuals to building team capability.
• Exposure to REST/SOAP APIs and integrating NetSuite with external systems.
• An Agile mindset, with the ability to adapt delivery to shifting priorities.
• Strong communicator who can engage with both technical and business leaders.

Nice to have
