Job summary

Incipio Group is seeking a passionate Lead Pizza Chef (Junior Sous Chef) for Juno, our Italian bar and restaurant in Olympia. You will lead the pizza section, collaborate with the Head and Sous Chef, and elevate neapolitan pizzas while developing the kitchen team. A great energy and love for Italian food are key.

You’ll mentor juniors, ensure safety and compliance, and help maintain a fun, high-performance kitchen culture as the brand grows.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Chef in a fast paced, multi-brand environment.
• A passion for hospitality, attention to detail, and high standards of food preparation and presentation.
• Organised, clean, and confident in maintaining food hygiene, stock rotation, and compliance.
• A team player who contributes to a calm, collaborative and motivated kitchen culture.
• Strong communication and willingness to train, mentor, and support junior chefs.
• Energy, pace, and a genuine desire to grow your craft within a high-performance kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Collaboratively deliver the menu items with confidence, precision, and pride.
• Work closely with the Sous Chef & Head Chef to lead the wider kitchen team to create exceptional guest experiences.
• Running the day to day operations of our kitchens.
• Ensuring we are compliant, clean and safe.
• Prepping for the day ahead and delegating tasks to the team to ensure success.
• Supporting with stock management.
• Creating new and exciting dishes for menu changes and seasonal specials.
• Training and Developing your team.
• Lead by example on compliance, safety, and completing e-learning and checklists.
• Represent yourself and the Incipio brand with positivity, professionalism, and pride.
