Job summary

The West Bridgford School is seeking a motivated Teacher of Music who can deliver A Level Music to Year 12 and 13 and contribute to an active Performing Arts programme. The role may involve leading or sharing leadership of the department and supporting two musical theatre productions each year.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching Music and delivering A Level Music.
• Ability to use technology to enhance lessons.

Responsibilities

• Teach Music to key stage 5, including Year 12/13 A Level Music.
• Lead or share leadership of the Performing Arts Department where appropriate.
• Support extra-curricular events such as musical theatre productions.
• Create a safe, stimulating learning environment and utilise Rosenshine-inspired practice.
