Job summary

Craft in Leeds seeks a Senior Motion or Post-production Specialist to lead the motion and post-production department, setting the workflow and QC standards while mentoring junior editors and shaping the team as demand grows.

Role blends hands-on editing with orchestration across edit, CG and VFX, and embraces AI-augmented workflows. You’ll work with creative leads to deliver high-quality output with real authority.

This is a motion role that sits inside one of the UK's fastest-growing independent agencies: strategy, creative, production and technology under one roof, with a global client roster spanning FMCG giants, high-street retail names and major financial and technology brands.

The work is edit-led, blended with CG, VFX and AI. The core of the job is knowing how those disciplines come together, and being the one who pulls the strings.

The Role

You'll lead the motion and post-production department - this is a build brief as much as a craft one. You'll set the workflow, own quality control properly, hire and mentor junior editors, and shape what this team becomes. Expect to flex: hands-on in the weeds on complex projects, then stepping back to orchestrate when volume ramps.

Ideation and storyboarding sit with the creative directors. This is the delivery end, done to a high standard, with real authority over how it's done.

The Person

You're a Senior Motion or Post-production Specialist from a brand or retail background - agency or post house - genuinely hands-on across edit, CG and VFX.

You might already lead a team, or you might be a strong senior ready for your first lead role. Either way, the non-negotiable is orchestration: the ability to bring disciplines together seamlessly. You care about QC and file structure, and you're comfortable with AI-augmented workflows.
