Job summary

Medneo UK is seeking an experienced Senior Mobile Cardiac CT Radiographer based in York to lead and develop radiographer-led cardiac CT services across the UK. You will train as part of a bespoke programme and, upon competency, deliver safe, high-quality cardiac CT imaging within mobile units.

You will progress through a structured development pathway with clinical mentoring, gain hands-on exposure to ECG-gated acquisitions, and join a supportive radiographer-led team that delivers nationwide

Qualifications

• HCPC registration as Diagnostic Radiographer
• Minimum two years post-registration CT experience
• Experience with cardiac CT examinations
• Strong knowledge of CT scanning principles and radiation safety
• Willingness to travel nationwide

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality general and cardiac CT imaging across Medneo UK's nationwide mobile services
• Assess patient suitability for cardiac CT and identify clinical risks
• Review vitals and medical history to support safe imaging
• Prepare patients and explain the procedure, including contrast administration
• Safely administer GTN and beta-blockers as per protocol
• Perform intravenous cannulation and administer contrast media
• Recognise and manage adverse reactions and complications
• Select and adapt cardiac CT protocols based on patient presentation
• Conduct calcium scoring and CT coronary angiography acquisition
• Maintain accurate documentation and escalate concerns as needed
• Support and mentor other radiographers developing cardiac CT competencies
• Travel nationally and adapt to multiple clinical locations
