Job summary

Medneo UK is recruiting a Senior Mobile CT Radiographer to join a radiographer-led cardiac pathway. You will embark on a bespoke training programme to become a fully proficient, radiographer-led cardiac CT practitioner.

From day one you will deliver CT imaging across nationwide mobile services, progressing through a structured development plan with competency sign-off and salary uplift upon completion. Ideal candidates hold HCPC registration, with two years CT experience and an interest in

Qualifications

• HCPC registration as a Diagnostic Radiographer.
• Minimum two years’ post-registration CT experience.
• Experience working with cardiac CT is highly desired.
• Strong knowledge of CT scanning principles, contrast administration and radiation safety.
• Competence in intravenous cannulation and contrast administration.
• Current life support training.

Responsibilities

• Deliver general and cardiac CT imaging across nationwide mobile services.
• Assess patient suitability and identify risks for cardiac CT.
• Prepare patients, explain procedures, and manage medicines and contrast administration.
• Safely administer GTN and beta-blockers under protocol.
• Perform CT acquisition and post-processing with ECG-gated techniques.
• Monitor patients and provide post-procedure observations and aftercare.
• Maintain documentation and escalate concerns appropriately.
• Mentor other radiographers developing cardiac CT competencies.
