Job summary

Stockport NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Registered Midwife to support and supervise maternity immunisation clinics and to plan, implement, and evaluate the antenatal immunisation programme. The role promotes uptake of influenza, pertussis, COVID-19 and RSV vaccines and requires travel across Stockport and the High Peak with a suitable vehicle for business use.

Qualifications

• Registered midwife with current UK NMC registration.
• Educated to degree or equivalent experience.
• Evidence of CPD or ongoing education.

Responsibilities

• Support and supervise maternity immunisation clinics to deliver a safe, professional service.
• Plan, implement and evaluate antenatal immunisation programme delivery; promote uptake of flu, pertussis, COVID-19 and RSV vaccines.
• Provide advice and information to educate staff and service users; support woman-centred public health approaches.
• Ensure informed consent, accurate vaccination documentation, and timely systems recording.
• Travel across Stockport and High Peak; collaborate with midwifery team on complex cases.
