You will be experienced, enthusiastic, and caring, able to work autonomously, demonstrating excellent clinical skills to provide effective, individualised, women-centred care. You will need to promote normality and the use of alternative therapies for low-risk women. Are you a forward-thinking midwife? Do you wish to work in a unit committed to woman-centred care? Are you excited by the changes and challenges in midwifery and maternity services?
You must be flexible, able to participate in our on-call manager's rota and shifts as required to support the midwifery-led unit.
Successful candidates will work within a team of dedicated midwives and obstetricians and will receive a full orientation supported by the professional development team.
Walsall Healthcare NHS Trust is an integrated Trust and the only provider of NHS acute care in Walsall, serving a population of 286,700. We provide inpatient and outpatient services at the Manor Hospital, along with a wide range of community services. The hospital has state-of-the-art facilities including a Critical Care Unit, Neonatal Unit, Obstetric Theatre, and an upcoming Urgent and Emergency Care Centre.
