Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced, passionate registered midwife to lead and manage the community midwifery teams at Walsall Healthcare Trust. You will be experienced, enthusiastic, and caring, able to work autonomously, demonstrating excellent clinical skills to provide effective, individualised, women-centred care. You will need to promote normality and the use of alternative therapies for low-risk women. Main duties of the job

Are you a forward-thinking midwife? Do you wish to work in a unit committed to woman-centred care? Are you excited by the changes and challenges in midwifery and maternity services?

You must be flexible, able to participate in our on-call manager's rota and shifts as required to support the midwifery-led unit.

Successful candidates will work within a team of dedicated midwives and obstetricians and will receive a full orientation supported by the professional development team.

Walsall Healthcare NHS Trust is an integrated Trust and the only provider of NHS acute care in Walsall, serving a population of 286,700. We provide inpatient and outpatient services at the Manor Hospital, along with a wide range of community services. The hospital has state-of-the-art facilities including a Critical Care Unit, Neonatal Unit, Obstetric Theatre, and an upcoming Urgent and Emergency Care Centre.
