Precision AQ is seeking a Principal Medical Writer to join our Learning and Development team. You will create scientific training materials for healthcare professionals and pharma teams, guiding projects from concept to delivery while ensuring clarity and engagement.

This remote UK-based role involves leading client discussions, mentoring writers, and contributing strategic input to proposals, with occasional meet-ups in London or Salisbury as required.

Qualifications

• 6–8 years’ experience in a medical communications agency.
• Strong writing skills and scientific background.
• Confident reviewing content from other writers.
• Detail‑oriented and passionate about learning theory.
• Experience with training materials.
• Line management experience.

Responsibilities

• Review content written by other writers in the team – providing guidance, supporting with feedback, and taking responsibility for decision‑making.
• Lead client discussions.
• Provide strategic input into proposals and ongoing projects.
• Craft engaging, accurate and clear content: eLearning, workshops, infographics, videos, and more.
• Line manage/mentor writers in the team.
• Reference meticulously and collaborate on quality checks.
