Job summary

Bangor University in North Wales seeks a Lecturer or Senior Lecturer to contribute to physiology teaching across Pharmacy, Medicine and related programmes. You will lead on course design, supervise projects, and help deliver innovative teaching across undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

The post is full-time and permanent, located on campus in Bangor with a dynamic working framework allowing some remote UK work. A PhD in physiology or related field and UK teaching experience are essential.

Qualifications

Educated to PhD level or equivalent in physiology or a relevant subject area.
Experience of teaching within a UK school of pharmacy or medicine.
Evidence of delivering innovative teaching and curriculum development.
Ability to lead on curriculum development and assessment.
Strong English communication and academic leadership skills.

Responsibilities

Teach at undergraduate and postgraduate levels with project supervision.
Develop teaching materials and contribute to module coordination.
Provide pastoral and academic support to students.
Take on leadership roles within the School and College.
Contribute to quality assurance and curriculum review processes.
Lead on aspects of curriculum development and dissemination of scholarly activity.
