Job summary

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing mechanical installation on major projects.
• Strong HVAC and mechanical services knowledge.
• Experience managing subcontractors and site teams.
• Good understanding of construction programmes and sequencing.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Good health & safety and quality awareness.
• Experience on projects valued at 5m+ would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Managing day-to-day mechanical works and site activities.
• Leading supervisors, engineers and mechanical subcontractors.
• Coordinating installation across HVAC, pipework, ventilation, plumbing and associated mechanical services.
• Managing labour, materials and site resources.
• Monitoring progress against programme and reporting to the Project Manager.
• Coordinating mechanical works with electrical and other construction disciplines.
• Reviewing drawings, specifications and technical information.
• Managing site quality and resolving technical issues.
