Job description

Do you have extensive experience in a senior engineering role, particularly in leading multi-discipline engineering projects, and can you demonstrate your ability to manage design specifications, calculations, and compliance assessments?

Are you an experienced Mechanical Engineer or hold a Mechanical Engineering qualification at Degree level (BEng or MEng), or a Chartered Engineer (CEng) with IMechE or an equivalent institute?

Are you experienced in the application of piping design codes (ASME, BS EN) and working with the Pressure Equipment Directive (PED) and Pressure Equipment Safety Regulations (PESR)?

The Opportunity

Our client is a leading engineering and maintenance provider, supporting customers across the chemical & petrochemical, nuclear, oil & gas, pharmaceuticals & biopharma, power & energy, utilities, renewables, and food & beverage markets. Due to this, they are looking to expand their team with an experienced Lead Mechanical and Piping Engineer.

This role has been deemed inside / outside of IR35.

Salary Range: 65-70k Per Annum, dependent on experience.

Your duties and responsibilities will be

Reporting to the Mechanical Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for leading the development of Mechanical and piping engineering and design within multi-discipline EPCM or EPC projects.
