ATA is working with a large manufacturing group, who are looking for experienced maintenance team leader to join their team. The company who turnover over £400 million have a fantastic reputation within their market space & due to recent changes in the legislations have saw a huge increase in the need for their product. This increase has allowed them to put forward exciting plans to improve site efficiency, upgrade machinery and increase the size of their production team. The has recently undergone some wholesale changes, however, still have some work to do. This hire of a maintenance team leader is critical for them to achieve their goals. You will work alongside a diverse and down-to-earth Engineering Manager, alongside an experienced operations team. This opportunity is fantastic for any team leader who is interested in helping businesses improve, stability and long-term employment.

About the role

As a Mainteancne Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading a team of Shift Maintenance Engineers.

Responsibilities will include:

• Planning in the team’s maintenance works
• Supporting with the management of shut down periods.
• Supporting the team with complex problem solving and getting involved with complex breakdowns.
• Root cause analysis, continuous improvement and project management.
• Management of external contracts and onsite contractors.
• Managing health and safety alongside a SHE coordinator.
• KPI management

About you

To be considered for this Maintenance Team Leader role you should have/be the following:

• Mechanical biased with strong mechanical maintenance knowledge.
• Previous experience working within a manufacturing environment would be beneficial.
• Previous experience working as a maintenance team leader or senior engineer.
• Experience leading a team to achieve business KPIs
• Experience managing health and safety completing RAMS
• Able to work in pressurised situations and can make decisions confidently.
• Time Served and qualified with a level 3 engineering qualification.

As a Maintenance Team Leader, you will be joining a company who have fantastic employee engagement with many of their staff being with the business a long time.
