Job summary

Kinetic Plc is seeking an experienced Multi-Skilled Mechanical Fitter in Barnsley to join a fast-paced, quality-focused team. The role offers a clear path toward supervisory responsibilities within a stable, growing engineering business.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on fitting/assembly experience.
• Experience with electrics: motor wiring, volt meter testing, basic testing.

Responsibilities

• Mechanical assembly of machinery to a high standard.
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings and electrical schematics.
• Running wires during machine build and basic electrical tasks.
• Wiring motors, using a volt meter to check power presence, and verifying PLC inputs/outputs.
• Checking operation of solenoid valves, sensors, cylinders, slides, and pressure regulators.
