Role Summary / Purpose: We are seeking a highly skilled Principal/Lead Mechanical Engineer to join our London team. The MAPP MEP team is newly established to support the wider Building Consultancy team with specialist MEP input and technical design capabilities. As the team grows, your leadership will be crucial in developing strategies, managing projects, and fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.

• Lead the development and management of the MEP team’s strategy and business plans in London, including growth opportunities
• Oversee project planning and delivery, ensuring technical, financial, and commercial success while minimizing risks

Experience and Salary

Experience & Certifications:

• Minimum 15 years experience in a similar role
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• IEng/CEng accreditation with CIBSE or IMechE or equivalent
• Proficiency in AutoCAD
• Knowledge of Revit, Bluebeam, BIM, SAP, SBEM
• Understanding of UK building regulations and standards

Working Hours: 9am - 5.30pm Monday - Thursday, 9am - 5pm Friday

Salary Range: £70,000 - £90,000 per annum, depending on experience
