  2. Provide technical leadership and support for planned and reactive maintenance.
  3. Ensure compliance with all mechanical statutory requirements.
  4. Lead major projects, including tendering and contract management.
  5. Drive continuous improvement in engineering procedures, risk management, and asset reliability.
  6. Support long-term service agreements and liaise with suppliers, contractors, and OEMs.
  7. Management of designated plant and equipment within the VPI CCGT sites, which will include travel to Rye House, Shoreham & Blackburn Power Stations.

What we are looking for

  1. 5+ years’ experience in Mechanical Engineering (preferably in CCGT power).
  2. Strong knowledge of health & safety regulations, asset management, and contract management.
  3. Degree-qualified (or equivalent experience) in an engineering discipline.
  4. Excellent leadership and people management skills.

  6. A problem-solver with the ability to handle multiple projects and priorities.
  7. Valid UK Driving Licence.
