Qualifications

• 7+ years' mechanical design engineering experience.
• Proficient with 3D CAD: Solid Edge, SolidWorks, Inventor, Creo.
• Proven delivery of projects from concept to completion.
• Strong machine design principles and safety knowledge.
• Excellent communication with customers and stakeholders.
• HNC/HND or Degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Lead the mechanical design of bespoke automation and SP machinery.
• Use CAD tools to create robust, manufacturable designs.
• Drive design reviews and ensure project delivery to scope.
• Collaborate with electrical, controls, manufacturing and installation teams.
• Mentor engineering best practices across the team.
• Manage timescales and budgets.
