Job summary

Outsource Construction in Surrey is seeking an experienced Mechanical Construction Manager to lead on-site delivery of major mechanical building services packages. You will work closely with the Project Manager and delivery team to ensure works are completed safely, to required quality and in line with the programme.

Ideally you will have strong technical knowledge of HVAC, pipework and building services, plus proven leadership of site teams and subcontractors.

Qualifications

• Experience leading mechanical building services on major projects.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, heating, cooling, ventilation, pipework.
• Proven ability to lead site teams and coordinate subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate on-site mechanical installation works.
• Lead mechanical supervisors, site managers, engineers and subcontractors.
• Plan labour, materials, plant and equipment.
• Monitor progress against programme and milestones.
• Review drawings, specifications and installation information.
• Coordinate with other MEP disciplines and project teams.
• Oversee inspections, testing, commissioning, snagging and handover.
• Support the Project Manager with reporting.
