Job summary

Caludon Castle School seeks an energetic and committed Teacher of Maths to lead a high-performing department. The successful candidate will deliver Maths at GCSE and A/Level, inspire learners, and support colleagues to continually improve practice.

Qualifications

• Be an excellent practitioner with a passion for learning and teaching and a desire to ensure that the quality of learning in Maths is great.
• Be a leader with a desire to achieve the very best outcomes and deliver excellent, inclusive provision for all our students.
• Have an ability to support, motivate and develop teachers to improve their practice.
• Be able to teach Maths up to A Level.
• Have a record of consistently delivering strong GCSE and A Level results across a range of ability levels.
• Have an ability to engage, enthuse and motivate students and staff.
• Deliver a curriculum that inspires and engages students and provides an aspirational and challenging learning experience.
• Be a committed, highly competent, energised, reflective and resilient individual.
• Possess the skills and determination to make a profound difference to the lives of our students by sharing our belief in the highest standards of academic achievement in an inclusive setting.

Responsibilities

• Lead Maths department and drive excellence in GCSE and A Level results.
• Deliver high-quality Maths lessons up to A Level while ensuring inclusivity.
• Support, mentor and develop other Maths teachers to raise practice.
• Collaborate with colleagues to provide a cohesive, technology-rich curriculum.
• Promote student involvement, aspiration and achievement across key stages.
