Lead Mathematics Teacher - SEN

Sudbury, Suffolk

Up to 43,000 per year (DOE) Full Time, Permanent 40 hours per week

Leader Group is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of our client for a dedicated and experienced Lead Mathematics Teacher. This is a fantastic opportunity to take on a leadership role in delivering high-quality Maths education within a supportive specialist setting.

The Role

As Lead Mathematics Teacher, you will:

  • Plan and deliver engaging Maths lessons across the curriculum.
  • Establish personalised learning routes to support every pupil's progress.
  • Provide one-to-one guidance and encourage independent learning and research.
  • Set, mark, and assess homework and assignments, recording pupil progress and reporting on outcomes.
  • Lead on curriculum planning and ensure delivery is aligned with Ofsted educational standards.
About You

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has a passionate and committed approach to supporting students with SEND.
  • Brings at least two years' experience in a SEND environment or similar provision.
  • Holds QTS/QTLS (advantageous but not essential).
  • Can inspire, motivate, and lead both students and colleagues in the teaching of Mathematics.
