We're looking for a Lead Manufacturing Engineer / Manufacture Engineering Team Lead to join our world-class manufacturing facility near Middlesbrough. You'll be guiding a small but highly skilled team of Manufacturing Engineers, providing hands-on engineering support and helping to drive operational excellence.



Responsibilities


  • Leading your team to support production, servicing, commissioning, FAT, and new product introductions (NPI)

  • Driving improvements in equipment, processes, and technology to boost quality and efficiency

  • Monitoring and achieving departmental KPIs

  • Championing a culture of continuous improvement, safety, and compliance



Qualifications


  • Degree (or equivalent) in Electrical, Mechanical, Electronic, Manufacturing Engineering, or similar

  • Practical experience in manufacturing / production environments, ideally with complex electro-mechanical products

  • Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, or other continuous improvement methodologies

  • Experience in regulated industries such as Defence, Aerospace, or similar is a bonus
