Job description

Are you a Lead Maintenance Engineer seeking a new opportunity with an International Industrial Laundry company based in Wednesbury?

Annual Salary:

£55,000

Working hours & holiday:
  • Company Pension Scheme (minimum 5%, company currently contributes 5%)
  • Company medical insurance
  • Working hours: 5am-1pm Monday to Friday on odd weeks, 11am-7pm on even weeks
  • Occasional weekend work when required
  • 33 days holiday per year including bank holidays
Experience & Qualifications:
  • Ideally 2+ years leading a team of engineers (size not specified)
  • Experience in setting targets and managing team performance
  • Conducting return-to-work interviews
  • Handling low-level disciplinary activities
  • Experience in PPM planning and small project management
  • Familiarity with CMMS (Computerised Maintenance Management System)
  • Parts sourcing, ordering, and control
  • Conducting root cause analysis
  • Checking standard, corrective, and PPM work
  • Working within budgets set by others
  • Setting and achieving department targets
  • Experience with compliance control (LOLER, PUWER, PAT, Fixed Wiring, etc.)
  • Level 3 Engineering qualification (Mechanical and Electrical); a management qualification is desirable
  • Proficient in computer applications such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint
Qualifications Required:
  • Mechanical and Electrical Engineering Level 3 - City and Guilds or equivalent
  • Completed Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Apprenticeship
