Overview

Are you a Lead Maintenance Engineer or a Senior Maintenance Engineer looking to join a Food Manufacturing company based in Manchester? My client are looking for 3 Lead Engineers to join their team, working 4 on 4 off (2 days, 2 nights, 4 off) offering a salary of £59K. This food manufacturing business has invested millions of pounds on new cutting edge machinery. If you are interested in this role, please APPLY NOW via the job board. The business is undergoing exciting changes with a new Site Engineering Manager and is looking for driven individuals to join their busy facility.

Responsibilities
  • Lead, mentor and develop a team of engineers
  • Allocate workload and ensure efficient use of site resources
  • Supervise and participate in planned maintenance and repair on food manufacturing equipment
  • Ensure all maintenance activities are logged and documented accurately
  • Check completed works and verify that repaired equipment is in sound and safe operational condition
  • Identify and implement improvements to enhance equipment performance and reliability
  • Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Prepare and present reports on engineering activities and performance metrics
  • Provide the Engineering Manager and planner with required records and paperwork of all completed jobs
  • Manage contractor works in line with agreed engineering procedures
