Job description

Lead Maintenance Engineer

Location: Stratford

Salary: £48,000 - £50,000

An exciting opportunity for a Lead Engineer to work for a leading FM service provider on a prestigious contract in Stratford. Working for a highly esteemed maintenance provider, the Lead Engineer will be supervising another engineer on the site. You will be responsible for mechanical and electrical planned and reactive maintenance, remedial works and emergency response on site. The Lead Engineer will ideally be Electrically biased holding City and Guilds / NVQ qualifications whilst also being multi-skilled with good all-round building services maintenance knowledge.

If you have a proven career history within building services maintenance, with the ability to lead a team to successfully deliver contractually required levels of service delivery, this is a fantastic chance to continue to develop and progress your career with a company who truly cares about their employees and continues to grow.

Duties:
  1. PPMs & Reactive maintenance
  2. Single and Three Phase Power, Motors, Generators (on/off load tests), UPS, LV/HV switching, Shutdowns, Switchgear, Motors, Emergency Lighting, Fire Alarm Test, AHUs, FCUs, VAVs, CRAC units, Sprinkler Systems, Pumps, Belts, Bearings, Seals, BMS Operation
  3. Carry out isolation of plant and systems in accordance with safety requirements.
  4. Ensure corrective/repair works are carried out in accordance with regulations.
  5. Endorse safe working practices, quality standards conformity and best practice methods.
  6. Organising subcontractors
  7. Completing logbooks and RAMS
  8. Reports
  9. Liaising with client representatives in respect of corrective repair works.
  10. Permits to work
  11. Raise and close jobs on PDA's as necessary.
Requirements:
  1. City & Guilds / NVQ (or equivalent) qualification in Electrical Engineering
  2. Ability to lead a days engineering maintenance team
  3. Building Services Maintenance experience
  4. Career driven and motivated
  5. Polite and personable
Salary and Benefits:
  1. £48,000 - £50,000 per annum
  2. Monday to Friday, 8-5
  3. 25 days holiday
