Role Overview:

This is a new role in our laundry facility and is an excellent opportunity for a talented lead engineer with a strong mechanical and electrical background, and a track record in the delivery and execution of a high quality engineering service in previous roles, to make a significant difference.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Delivery of engineering improvements to ensuring uptime targets are delivered
  • Supporting the delivery of improved utility efficiencies across plant and equipment
  • Coach and mentor our technicians and team for optimal plant machinery performance
  • Preparation of plant and equipment improvement plans
  • On site supplier and contractor management
  • Delivery and upkeep of all statutory Health and Safety legislation requirements

Based at our state-of-the-art laundry in Livingston, Scotland, you will work over a 5 from 7 day rota ensuring the laundry's maintenance requirements are met.

About you:

To excel within this role, you will have:

  • Lead Engineer experience within commercial laundries preferable
  • Significant knowledge of strategic planned and reactive maintenance
  • Understanding of PLC troubleshooting and diagnostics of automated plant
  • Demonstrable delivery of working in a high-performing plant environment
  • Delivery of strategic engineering performance improvements
  • Collaborative relationship building within the business, and supply chain
  • Experience leading and managing a team
