A leading global intralogistics company seeks a Lead Maintenance Engineer in Leicester to oversee maintenance tasks and manage a small team. Responsibilities include performing electrical and mechanical maintenance on automated systems and conducting continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will have an NVQ Level 3 in Electromechanical discipline and experience with automated systems. Qualifications

  • Completed an apprenticeship in Electromechanical discipline to at least NVQ Level 3.
  • HNC/HND or NVQ Level 5 is desirable.
  • Knowledge of automated systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

TXM Recruit is partnering with a leading global intralogistics company that specializes in designing, developing, and maintaining highly automated systems. We are seeking a Lead Site Engineer to join the team.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage stakeholders and lead a small team.
  • Oversee CMMS management and assist with maintenance tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Carry out preventative and reactive maintenance across the site, including continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Perform electrical and mechanical maintenance on automated systems.
  • Conduct mechanical tasks such as equipment strip-down, re-assembly, component replacement, and belt re-lacing.
  • Perform electrical testing using a multi-meter, interpret electrical diagrams and symbols, and work with voltages up to 480V.
  • Manage maintenance allocation within CMMS.
  • Track budgets and KPIs.
  • Lead and develop customer relations.
Shift Pattern:
  • Panama shift (2, 2, 3)
  • Day and night shifts – 6am to 6pm / 6pm to 6am
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Completed an apprenticeship in Electromechanical discipline to at least NVQ Level 3.
  • Experience with automated systems.
  • HNC/HND or NVQ Level 5 is desirable.
  • Knowledge of WMS or WCS systems is beneficial.
  • Pneumatic and hydraulic knowledge is advantageous.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
