Job Summary

I am looking to recruit a Lead Site Engineer to join my client's engineering team. The responsibilities include managing stakeholders, leading a small team, CMMS management, and assisting with maintenance tasks within a fast-paced environment.

Leadership responsibilities

• Managing CMMS
• Day-to-day people management
• Stakeholder management
• Leading a small team

Engineering responsibilities

• Maintaining site MHE to a high standard
• Continuously improving all aspects of equipment, prioritizing health and safety
• Completing reactive repairs within set timeframes
• Communicating with on-site management about repair and maintenance progress
• Servicing and repairing installed products, demonstrating ownership
• Interpreting electrical circuit diagrams and working with 415V motor controls
• Carrying out risk assessments considering health & safety
• Mechanical aptitude including reading assembly drawings
• Operating hand tools and assembling parts onto equipment
• Following setup instructions, assembly drawings, and checklists
• Providing excellent customer service to internal and external customers
• Understanding control systems
• Willingness to learn and adapt to changing requirements
• Effective presentation of KPI-based monthly reviews to stakeholders

Skills, qualifications, and experience

• NVQ/BTEC/C&G Level 3 in Electro-Mechanical Engineering
• Understanding of PLCs and their functions
• Pneumatic and hydraulic knowledge (beneficial)
• Computer literacy with basic Microsoft Office skills
• Experience with CMMS systems and engineering stores
• HNC/HND equivalent (desirable)
