Qualifications

  • Ideally holds 18th edition certification.
  • Experience in PPM and reactive maintenance is a must.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and complete PPM and reactive maintenance tasks.
  • Oversee compliance duties and health & safety documentation.
  • Liaise with clients and monitor subcontractors on site.

Job description

Position: Lead Maintenance Electrician
Type: Temp / Temp to Perm
Salary: Based off £43,000 PA. Mon-Fri 40 hours per week days.
Location: Newcastle Upon Tyne
Overtime: Yes

We are recruiting for a Lead maintenance electrician based in theNewcastle area covering the electrical maintenance within a large scale estate. The role is starting temporary but looking to move into a permanent role for the right candidate. Based off £43k 40 hours per week (£20.67/hr) plus overtime.

Lead Maintenance Electrician Duties:
Supervising and completing PPM and reactive maintenance to:
Electrical systems
Lighting and emergency lighting
Controls and BMS
Basic Plumbingmaintenance
AHU/fan coil upkeep
Overseeing and leading on checks and compliance duties including water/tap temps etc.
Client liaison
Monitoring of sub-contractors on site and ensuring H&S documentation and permits are correct
Supervision of fabric staff

Requirements:
A qualified Electrical Engineer (SNVQ Level 3 or C&G 1 and 2)
Ideally 18th edition
Previous PPM and reactive maintenance experience
Excellent client facing skills
Ideally with some general supervisory or lead engineering experience
Able to log paperwork and documentation
