Based at the Global Technology Centre Bristol, the role blends technical leadership with line-management of the subtractive manufacturing team and budget/risk oversight.

Hybrid working is offered. You will lead machining technology development, deliver results to operational sites, and ensure high-quality documentation and governance across projects.

Qualifications

• Proven track record leading technical teams and projects.
• Experience managing budgets, schedules and risk in manufacturing.
• Strong background in machining technology and process development.

Responsibilities

• Lead the subtractive manufacturing team as line manager and technical lead.
• Drive machining technology development from TRL3 to TRL6 with rigorous governance.
• Deliver machining technology into operational sites across GKN.
• Ensure activities are completed on time, with quality and cost control.
• Manage internal and external stakeholder relationships for technology development.
