Job summary

University of the Arts London is seeking an experienced academic theatre designer to lead MA Theatre and Performance Design across Camberwell, Chelsea and Wimbledon Colleges. You will provide academic leadership for the design pathway and ensure high standards of teaching, learning and student experience.

You will shape a new curriculum that combines critical research with creative practice, oversee day-to-day management, and work with colleagues and external partners to advance the MA and wider

Qualifications

• Hold a degree or higher qualification in theatre design or closely related discipline.
• Substantial experience of course leadership, curriculum management, teaching and assessment in higher education.
• Fresh vision for the future of theatre design practice and established reputation through research or professional practice.

Responsibilities

• Lead the strategic development, design and delivery of an innovative curriculum.
• Oversee day-to-day management of the MA Theatre and Performance Design course.
• Provide academic leadership for the design pathway and ensure high standards of teaching and student experience.
