Job description

Lead M&E Engineer - £47,000 - City of London

Location: City of London

Salary: £47K + Plenty of Overtime

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8AM – 5PM

Our client is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join their prestigious contract, overseeing electrical PPMs, reactive maintenance, and other building services. The Electrical Maintenance Engineer will receive a competitive package including a £47,000 salary, clear progression pathways, overtime, pension, and career stability.

Key Duties:
  1. Perform daily PPM and reactive maintenance tasks.
  2. Handle emergency callouts.
  3. Conduct electrical work such as lighting, wiring, testing, alarm systems, BMS, and lighting systems.
  4. Assist with duties related to toilets, drainage, tiling, and sinks.
  5. Demonstrate knowledge of AHU, FCU, UPS, generators, and LV systems, including fault finding.
  6. Manage BMS head-end controls.
  7. Oversee HVAC plant systems.
  8. Handle VAV and VRV systems.
  9. Ensure water treatment tasks are completed.
  10. Perform ballast changes and lamping.
  11. Conduct PAT testing.
Requirements:
  1. Trade trained with ideally 3 years' experience in building services.
  2. City & Guilds Qualified Electrical Level 3 or equivalent.
  3. Motivated with a desire to succeed and learn.
  4. Good knowledge of building services.
