Job summary

Harrods Interiors is seeking a Senior Interior Designer on a 12-month fixed-term contract to deliver luxury interior design from concept to completion for high-end bespoke projects, reporting to the Design Manager.

You will lead multiple projects, produce technical drawings and specifications, present concepts to clients, manage timelines and budgets, coordinate with procurement, and mentor junior designers. This is an on-site role five days a week, with reference to Hybrid@Harrods policy.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in luxury or high-end interior design.
• Ability to manage projects end-to-end, including budgets and timelines.
• Strong technical skills across design software and office tools.
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
• Detail-oriented with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset.
• Comfortable leading projects and mentoring junior designers.
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple design projects from inception to completion.
• Create and oversee high-quality design packages, including technical drawings and specs.
• Present and communicate design concepts to clients and stakeholders.
• Manage timelines, budgets, and deliverables to meet commercial targets.
• Collaborate with procurement to ensure products are specified and delivered on time.
• Conduct site visits to maintain design integrity and quality standards.
• Oversee bespoke design elements, including FF&E and joinery.
• Mentor junior designers and provide guidance and feedback.
