Job summary

Vyman Solicitors in London seeks an experienced Litigation Solicitor to join our Litigation & Dispute Resolution team. You will handle substantial disputes with real responsibility and direct client contact from the outset.

We require 6+ years PQE in commercial litigation, strong drafting and strategic judgment, and a collaborative approach to mentoring juniors as the practice grows. This role offers genuine ownership of matters and client relationships.

Qualifications

• Solicitor qualified in England & Wales with 6+ years PQE in commercial litigation.
• Experience in shareholder disputes, unfair prejudice petitions, corporate disputes and/or commercial property litigation.
• Excellent drafting, case analysis and strategic judgment.
• Confident dealing directly with clients, counsel, experts and opponents.
• Willingness to mentor juniors and contribute to team development.
• A practical, commercially focused approach to advising clients.

Responsibilities

• Join the Litigation & Dispute Resolution team and work on substantial disputes with real responsibility and direct client contact.
• Handle shareholder disputes, unfair prejudice petitions and corporate disputes.
• Advise on litigation risk, settlement strategy, and trial preparation.
• Draft and oversee pleadings, evidence, settlements, and court documents.
• Collaborate with other teams where disputes cross practice areas.
• Develop litigation strategy and resource planning for complex matters.
• Build strong client relationships and provide practical guidance.
• Support and mentor junior team members.
