Job summary

McLaren Automotive Ltd is seeking a Senior Logistics Engineer – Lineside Delivery to lead end-to-end design and execution of internal material delivery from warehouse to lineside, ensuring safe, efficient and repeatable delivery into production.

You will own delivery media, line-side presentation standards, sequencing and the interface between inbound logistics and internal flows, driving improvements and ensuring timely delivery to production.

Qualifications

• Degree-level education in logistics, industrial, manufacturing engineering, or supply chain.
• Experience in logistics engineering or internal material flow within manufacturing.
• Experience designing delivery media, routes, or lineside presentation systems.
• Experience leading cross-functional projects and launches.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and optimisation of material flow from warehouse to lineside.
• Own the specification and implementation of delivery media and handling solutions.
• Define lineside presentation standards, kitting and sequencing processes.
• Interface inbound logistics with internal delivery and optimize handover.
• Define delivery frequencies and replenishment methods for production needs.
• Lead engineering activities for new programmes and launch readiness.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Logistics, Engineering, Quality and Facilities.
• Analyse layouts and performance data to drive improvements.
• Manage costs of delivery media and equipment, seeking cost savings.
• Provide technical leadership and coaching to junior engineers.
