Job summary

EFI Group is seeking a Lead Learning Support Assistant to support learners with SEND at FRA and LCBT. You will help students access curriculum, build confidence in core skills, and progress toward qualifications.

You will lead and mentor Learning Support Assistants, work with lecturers and tutors, and contribute to improving literacy and numeracy attainment while upholding safeguarding and inclusive practices.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification (A Level or equivalent) with Maths and English GCSEs.
• Experience supporting SEND learners in education.
• Experience supervising or coordinating support staff.
• Understanding safeguarding, wellbeing, equality and inclusion in FE.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise Learning Support Assistants across FRA and LCBT.
• Mentor staff and ensure consistent inclusive practice.
• Collaborate with curriculum staff to raise attainment in literacy and numeracy.
• Promote a safe, professional and aspirational learning environment.
