Job summary

Cambridge University Press & Assessment in the United Kingdom is seeking a Senior Assessment Manager, Languages to lead quality assurance and sign-off of language assessments across programmes. You will manage language syllabuses and ensure timely development of high-quality materials for learners worldwide.

This hybrid role based in Cambridge focuses on coordinating assessment specialists and engaging with international partners to maintain fairness and comparability across exam series,

Qualifications

• A degree in one or more languages.
• Knowledge of at least one language in addition to English.
• Very high standard of English (C2 CEFR).
• Strong knowledge of assessment within an education setting.
• Classroom teaching experience.

Responsibilities

• Managing the lifecycle of a portfolio of language syllabuses.
• Working with colleagues to design and develop syllabuses.
• Overseeing the production and delivery of assessment materials.
• Managing grading processes and supporting the setting of grade thresholds.
• Planning future examination series and assessment development activities.
