Job summary

Lancaster City Council is recruiting for an experienced land management advisor to lead partnership work with the farming and land management community on the Arnside & Silverdale National Landscape project. The role requires delivering bespoke advice, guidance and support, and developing proposals for nature recovery and inclusive access.

Qualifications

• Strong proven experience of partnership working with the farming community and providing land management advice and support.
• Excellent knowledge of nature-friendly land management, agri-environment funding, rural development, and related issues.
• Experience in developing proposals from ideas to delivery.
• Excellent ability to communicate in a range of formats to inspire and involve others.
• Excellent organisational and ICT skills, including data interpretation and statistics.

Responsibilities

• Lead partnership working with farmers, landowners and land managers within Arnside & Silverdale National Landscape.
• Provide bespoke land management advice and support to partners and communities.
