Job summary

Expect on-site collaboration in Telford, with two days on-site weekly and a focus on scalable services, LLDs and architectural excellence. You will own design through Build, mentor engineers, and drive best practices while collaborating with architects, QA
Qualifications
- Proven experience producing technical designs and LLDs.
- Strong problem-solving and technical leadership skills.
- Experience working within complex enterprise environments.
- Lead Engineer/Senior Engineer experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership across Java-based engineering teams.
- Design and develop scalable services and integrations.
- Produce comprehensive Low-Level Designs (LLDs).
- Translate architectural designs into actionable technical solutions.
- Lead technical delivery throughout the Build phase.
- Work collaboratively with Architects, QA Leads and Engagement Managers.
- Drive technical solutions to complex engineering challenges.
- Support and mentor other engineers.
- Promote engineering principles, standards and best practices.
- Utilise shared/common components across the wider Modernisation Programme.
- Ensure high-quality technical delivery across assigned services.
